Martin Welker / CEO & Founder
After his degree at the University of Karlsruhe as Graduate Computer Scientist, Martin worked in Silicon Valley and San Francisco. He returned to Germany in 2003 and founded Axonic Informationssysteme GmbH. As CEO he is responsible for our expansion into new markets and for providing leadership in software development. Martin is the author of numerous articles on software topics.
Peter Oehler / COO
After completing his humanities studies at the University of Karlsruhe, Peter launched his career at an international leading fitness company, where he was responsible for establishing the IT department. Later, as a director at CDV Software Entertainment AG, he was responsible for the establishment of the QA and Support department. At the end of 2006 he became part of Axonic. As COO Peter focuses on Human Capital, PR, Marketing, QA and the web.
Axonic Informationssysteme GmbH is a privately held software vendor focusing on technology concerning information, communication and recognition. The company is located in Karlsruhe and was founded by Martin Welker in 2003. We have successfully been developing software in the areas of artificial intelligence and knowledge and information extraction for over a decade. In this time we have acquired experience in company management, creating concepts and realizing software tasks. Since 2002 our research has primarily been based on the area of “communication intelligence” – the analysis and presentation of communication.
